The Fifth-Ever Black Warrior Review Contest Has Begun!

Friend-of-Switchback Black Warrior Review is now accepting contest entries. Guest Judges this year are Larissa Szporluk (poetry) and Brian Evenson (fiction). Winners in each genre will receive $1,000 and publication in the Spring/Summer 2010 issue. Finalists in each category will receive notation in the Spring/Summer 2010 issue, and are also considered for publication. Contestants will receive a complimentary one-year subscription to Black Warrior Review. All entries must be postmarked by October 1, 2009.
